FAQs
How is the seating arranged at the event?
Please purchase tickets as a group so we know how many people will be at your table. If you are unable to purchase tickets as a group, please identify the names of the people you wish to sit with in the note section upon purchase. All tables in the field will be set up in advance, you will be given a table number upon check-in. If you’d like to reserve tables within proximity to another group, please make note in your order. We will try our best to accommodate!
What if there is inclement weather?
If rain is expected on the day of your scheduled tickets, we will make a final decision by 12 PM that same day regarding whether the picnic will proceed. If cancellation is necessary, ticketholders will receive an email asking if they would prefer to reschedule for our alternative date or receive a refund. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience weather-related cancellations may cause, but our priority is ensuring everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
What is your cancellation policy?
Tickets may be canceled up to 14 days before the event for a full refund. If canceling within 14 days, you have the option to transfer your tickets, though refunds will not be provided. Our cancellation policy is designed to account for staffing needs, food and beverage orders, and the high demand for these events. We truly appreciate your understanding!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We are able to accommodate guests who request vegetarian, nut free and/or gluten free options for their charcuterie boards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept ANY other modifications or changes. Please add your dietary accommodations into the note section when purchasing your tickets or send us an email to info@soireeinthefield.com at a minimum of 14 days prior to the event.
Is the event accessible?
We try to keep the grounds maintained and safe to navigate however, there may be places where the ground is soft or uneven due to rain or frequent passage of equipment. Please note that tables are low to the ground, and you are sitting on pillows, which may not be comfortable for some. If you require an accessible table, please mention upon booking in the note section.
Is there parking available onsite?
Parking is available onsite, and we ask that you follow the signs upon arrival to the farm to respect the farmers property.
Can I bring my furry friend?
We ask you not to bring your pets with you to the event at this time as there are farm animals as well as food on low-lying tables which may distract them. Our apologies for this no-pets policy but we want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Can I pick the lavender?
Please bear in mind that the lavender plants are the farmers pride and joy so please treat them with respect and care and avoid stepping over rows or picking flowers.
Will there be insects and bees?
Lavenders attract pollinators such as bees. Bees are lovely creatures and usually just go about minding their own bees-ness. If you are allergic to bee stings, please come prepared with the necessary allergy medication in the event of sting to be safe.
Are additional beverages available for purchase?
Yes, we will have a Mobile Bar onsite with additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
